Is Silicone Safe for Daily Wear?

Yes. This wristband is made from 100% solid silicone rubber — the same material used in baby pacifiers, kitchen bakeware, and medical implants. It contains no latex, BPA, phthalates, or heavy metals. The silicone is certified to REACH (EU) and RoHS standards, making it completely safe for prolonged skin contact, even for people with sensitive skin or latex allergies.

· Debossed text is permanent — The engraved lettering is formed during the mold compression process. It is not ink, print, or sticker. It will never rub off, peel, fade, or smudge — even after years of daily wear, swimming, or exposure to sunscreen and lotions.

· Color is molded in, not coated — The fluorescent green pigment is mixed directly into the liquid silicone before molding. The entire cross-section of the band is the same color. There is no paint layer or dip coating that could chip or wear away.

· Seamless one-piece construction — No glued joints, no welded seams, no clasps that can fail. The wristband is a single homogeneous piece of silicone rubber. It will not delaminate or split at the seam.

· Chemical and oil resistant — Silicone naturally repels water, resists oil, and withstands common chemicals including hand sanitizer, sunscreen, chlorine, salt water, and mild cleaning solutions. Wipe clean with soap and water.

· Tear and stretch tested — Each batch is tested for elongation (≥400%) and tensile strength (≥8.0 MPa). The band returns to its original shape after stretching, with no permanent distortion.

1. Color Customization

· Band color — Choose any solid color from the full Pantone palette. The current design is fluorescent green (Pantone 802C). Popular alternatives: royal blue, red, black, white, orange, purple, or pink.

· Text color — By default, debossed text appears in the natural silicone color of the recessed groove. On a dark band, the debossed area naturally shows the underlying band color as a slightly darker/different shade. For contrast printing, we can fill the debossed groove with silicone ink in any Pantone color (e.g., white text on black band, black text on green band).

· Two-color bands — Two-color layered wristbands are available where the outer layer is one color and the inner layer (revealed at the edge) is a different color, creating a color-stripe effect.

· Segmented color bands — A wristband can be molded with up to 3 color segments using a silicone color-injection process for multi-color sections on one band.

2. Logo / Text Customization

· Debossed (recessed engraving) — The text is engraved into the mold. As shown in the current design, recessed text is permanent and will never wear off. Ideal for logos, property names, slogans, and phone numbers.

· Embossed (raised relief) — The reverse of debossed — the text or logo stands up from the band surface. Creates a tactile, 3D effect that some brands prefer for their logo.

· Screen-printed / pad-printed — Ink is applied to the band surface after molding. This allows multi-color complex graphics but has shorter durability than debossed/embossed. Best for short-term event wristbands.

· Full-color digital print — For photographic or gradient artwork, we offer UV digital printing on silicone. This is optimal for detailed logos, QR codes, and designs that cannot be achieved through mold texturing.

· Debossed + ink fill — The groove is debossed and then filled with a contrasting silicone ink for maximum readability. Example: green band with white-filled debossed text.

· Width options — Standard 1.0" (25 mm). We also offer 0.5" (13 mm) slim bands, 0.75" (19 mm), and 1.5" (38 mm) wide bands for larger logo space.

· Adult vs. youth sizes — We provide standard adult inner diameter (~2.5") and youth/child sizes (~2.0" inner diameter). Both can be combined in one production order.

· Custom inner diameter — Any inner diameter can be specified from 1.5" up to 3.5" to accommodate different wrist sizes and styles.

· Thickness options — Standard 2.0 mm. Thinner 1.5 mm for lightweight comfort, or thicker 3.0 mm for a premium, substantial feel.

What is the minimum order quantity for a custom printed silicone wristband?

For a brand-new custom design with a new mold (any text, any width), the MOQ is 500 pieces per design. If you choose an existing mold size but change the color, MOQ is 300 pieces per color. For adding a printed (screen) logo onto an existing band stock, the MOQ is 200 pieces. We also accept smaller test orders — please contact us for a custom quote.

How long does a sample take to arrive?

Once artwork is approved, we create the mold in 7 – 10 working days, produce the sample in 3 – 4 days, and ship via DHL/FedEx (3 – 7 working days). Total from artwork approval to sample in hand: approximately 13 – 21 working days.

Can I get this wristband in a different width?

Yes. The standard width is 1.0" (25 mm). We also produce 0.5" (13 mm), 0.75" (19 mm), and 1.5" (38 mm). Changing the width requires a new mold. Contact us for pricing.

Is the wristband safe for children?

Yes. Our silicone is 100% non-toxic, BPA-free, phthalate-free, and latex-free. It is certified to FDA food-contact standards, REACH, and RoHS. The wristband has no small detachable parts, making it safe for children aged 3+ under adult supervision. Youth sizes are also available.

Will the text wear off over time?

The debossed (engraved) text — like the lettering on this Residencial El Mesón wristband — is physically molded into the silicone during compression molding. It is not ink or paint. It will NEVER rub off, peel, or wear away. The wristband will wear out before the text does.

Can I get a two-color or swirled wristband?

Yes. We offer several multi-color options: (1) Two-color layered — one color outer, different inner; (2) Segmented — up to 3 distinct color sections along the band; (3) Swirled — marbleized blend of 2 – 3 colors. Each requires a modified mold setup and adjusted MOQ.

What if the wristband feels too tight or too loose?

We provide a sizing chart before production. Choose from standard adult (~2.5" inner diameter) or youth/child (~2.0"). For custom sizing, specify the exact inner diameter. We also offer an adjustable silicone wristband with slider bead closure if slip-on is not suitable.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept T/T bank transfer (30% deposit + 70% balance before shipment), L/C at sight above $5,000, Western Union for samples, and PayPal for orders under $3,000. Net-30 terms are available for established customers after credit review.

Can I mix multiple designs in one order?

Yes. You can mix different text, colors, and widths in the same production batch, as long as each unique design meets its MOQ. This consolidates shipping and reduces per-unit costs.

What if there is a quality issue after delivery?

We offer a 12-month quality guarantee. If the wristband shows material defects (cracking, flaking, premature fading) within 12 months of delivery, we replace defective units free of charge. This does not cover intentional damage, extreme heat exposure over 230°C, or chemical damage from solvents.

Can I test a small batch before ordering bulk?

Absolutely. Sample orders are always available. For a stock-sized wristband with custom print, the sample fee is typically $50 – $80 for mold setup plus the per-piece sample cost. The mold setup fee is credited back on the first bulk order of 500+ pieces.

Do you offer eco-friendly or recycled silicone?

Yes. We offer a recycled silicone material made from post-industrial silicone waste. It has slightly different physical properties (Shore A 65 – 75) and is available in standard widths only. MOQ for eco-friendly silicone is 1,000 pieces. We also offer plant-based silicone blends upon request.
