Wholesale Custom Bronze Tone Music Competition Medal — High-Relief Die-Struck Metal Award Medal with Bundesadler Eagle, Laurel Wreath & German Flag Ribbon for Events, Festivals & Ceremonies
What Is This Bronze Music Competition Medal?
This Bronze Music Competition Medal is a high-relief die-struck metal award medal specifically designed for the Grafingholf International Music Competition. The front face features the German Federal Eagle (Bundesadler) centered within a laurel wreath, with the competition name "Grafingholf International Music Competition" arranged in an elegant arc around the perimeter — creating a formal, prestigious appearance befitting an international music event.
The medal is crafted from solid metal with a rich bronze tone (antique bronze finish), achieved through precision die-striking and surface treatment. The high-relief embossing creates sharp, three-dimensional detail that makes the eagle emblem and laurel wreath stand out against the recessed background. A polished brass suspension ring at the 12 o'clock position attaches the medal to a German flag-colored ribbon (red, black, and gold stripes), completing the ceremonial presentation.

What Materials Are Used in This Bronze Medal?
This bronze music competition medal is made from solid brass or zinc alloy, then treated with an antique bronze surface finish. The base metal provides substantial weight (35–45g) and a premium feel in hand. The bronze tone finish is achieved through an electroplating and aging process that creates a rich, vintage appearance reminiscent of classic European competition medals. The ribbon is grosgrain weave polyester with German flag colors, which is strong, colorfast, and resists fraying. The suspension ring is solid brass wire, polished to a bright gold sheen.

Durability Highlights
Solid metal construction — Cast from solid brass or zinc alloy, not hollow or stamped thin metal. The substantial weight conveys quality and prestige.
Bronze tone surface treatment — The antique bronze finish is electrochemically bonded, not painted or sprayed. Resists chipping, peeling, and fading.
High-relief die-struck design — The Bundesadler eagle, laurel wreath, and arc text are struck into the metal under high pressure, creating sharp, permanent detail that cannot wear off.
German flag ribbon — The red/black/gold tricolor grosgrain ribbon is tightly woven with heat-sealed edges to prevent fraying. Colors are solution-dyed for long-lasting vibrancy.
Protective clear coat — A lacquer coating slows oxidation and tarnishing. With proper storage (away from moisture), the bronze finish remains beautiful for years.

What is the minimum order quantity for a custom bronze music competition medal?
For a completely new custom design requiring a new steel die, the MOQ is 100 pieces per design. If you want to use our existing Bundesadler die pattern but change the plating finish or ribbon color, the MOQ is 200 pieces. For plain blank medals without custom relief, the MOQ is as low as 50 pieces.
How long does a sample take?
For a new custom die design with the Bundesadler or your custom emblem, the steel die engraving takes 7–10 working days, followed by sample striking and finishing in 3–5 working days. International shipping via DHL/FedEx takes 3–7 working days. Total from artwork approval to sample in hand: roughly 13–22 working days.
Can I get a different metal finish instead of bronze?
Yes. We offer gold plate, silver plate, nickel plate, antique bronze, antique silver, gunmetal, and copper finishes. The standard is antique bronze (matte background with polished raised relief). You can also request a fully polished finish or a fully matte finish.
Can I change the text on the medal to my own competition name?
Yes. The arc text around the medal perimeter can be customized to any competition name, event title, or message. The font style, text size, and arrangement can all be adjusted. Maximum text length depends on the medal diameter.
Can I put custom text or a logo on the back of the medal?
Yes. We can create dies for both the front and back of the medal. The reverse side typically includes the event date, sponsor logo, ranking (1st, 2nd, 3rd), or a full inscription for the recipient.
What colors of ribbon do you offer besides the German flag?
We stock over 20 standard ribbon colors including red, blue, green, black, white, purple, yellow, gold, silver, and pink. Custom Pantone colors are available with a 200-piece ribbon MOQ. Grosgrain (ribbed) is standard; satin, velvet, and printed ribbons are also available.
Can I get a medal in a custom shape instead of round?
Yes. We can produce medals in custom shapes: stars, shields, crosses, musical notes, or fully custom outlines. Custom shapes require an additional cutting die. This adds +2–3 working days to mold creation time.
Is the bronze finish real bronze?
The finish is antique bronze electroplating applied over a solid brass or zinc alloy base. It has the exact visual appearance of aged bronze medals. We also offer genuine solid bronze medals at a premium price point.
Can I get a medal with colored enamel details?
Yes. We also offer cloisonné and soft enamel options where the recessed areas of the medal (such as the laurel wreath or eagle sections) are filled with colored enamel. This creates a colorful, durable finish.
What is the quality guarantee?
We offer a 6-month quality guarantee. If the medal shows material defects (plating peeling, die detail breaking, ribbon fraying) within 6 months of delivery, we replace defective units free of charge. Intentional damage or extreme conditions are excluded.
