Wholesale Custom Metal Poker Coin — Die-Struck Challenge Coin with Enamel Fill for Card Games, Casino Promotions & Poker Accessories
What Is This Metal Poker Coin?
This Metal Poker Coin is a custom die-struck challenge coin / cardguard (card protector) designed with a gold-plated finish and enamel-filled "KING OF POKER" design. The front features a polished gold base with red, black, and white enamel artwork depicting a stylized playing-card King (K) character, surrounded by red-and-black cross-shaped decorative borders, with the text "KING OF POKER" in bold white lettering. The reverse side is a smooth, mirror-polished gold surface — ready for custom engraving or left as a clean blank.
The coins are available in three sizes (large ~50mm, medium ~40mm, small ~30mm) to suit different preferences. In poker games, these coins are used as cardguards (card protectors) to hold a player's hand on the table and prevent accidental mucking. They also serve as commemorative challenge coins for poker clubs, casinos, and card game enthusiasts.

What Materials Are Used in This Poker Coin?
This poker coin is made from die-cast zinc alloy (Zamak), which provides excellent weight and detail reproduction capability. The coin is electroplated with a gold finish, then filled with hard enamel in the recessed areas. The result is a heavy, substantial coin (45–55g for the large size) with a smooth, vibrant enamel surface that will not chip or fade under normal use.

Durability Highlights
Die-cast zinc alloy — One-piece cast construction, no hollow sections or assembled parts. Solid throughout.
Hard enamel fill — The red, black, and white enamel is baked at high temperature, creating a hard, glass-like surface that resists scratching and fading.
Gold plating plus lacquer — The gold electroplate is protected by a clear lacquer topcoat that slows oxidation and prevents tarnishing.
Edge-to-edge protection — The gold edge extends slightly above the enamel surface, protecting the colored fill from edge impacts.
Substantial weight — The solid metal construction gives a satisfying heft that poker players appreciate in a cardguard.
We can customize every aspect of this poker coin — from size and metal finish to artwork design, text, enamel colors, and packaging. Whether you want your poker club logo, a custom mascot, or a completely new theme, our factory can produce it to your exact specification.

1. What is the minimum order quantity for a custom poker coin?
For a completely new custom design requiring a new die, the MOQ is 100 pieces per design. If you want to use our existing KING OF POKER die but change the enamel colors or plating finish, the MOQ is 200 pieces. For plain blank coins without custom design, the MOQ is 50 pieces.
2. How long does a sample take?
For a new custom die design, the steel die engraving takes 7–10 working days, followed by sample striking and enamel filling in 3–5 working days. International shipping via DHL/FedEx takes 3–7 working days. Total from artwork approval to sample in hand: roughly 13–22 working days.
3. What is the difference between hard enamel and soft enamel?
Hard enamel (cloisomé) is baked at high temperature and polished flat, creating a smooth, glass-like surface that is scratch-resistant. Soft enamel has a textured surface where the enamel sits slightly below the metal dividers. For cardguards and challenge coins where the coin slides across felt tables, hard enamel is recommended.
4. Can I get the coin with custom engraving on the back?
Yes. The blank polished back can be laser-engraved with custom text, a logo, a serial number, a QR code, or any combination of elements. Laser engraving adds +2 working days and has a MOQ of 50 pieces.
5. Can I get a completely different poker-themed design?
Yes. We can create coins for any poker theme — card suits (spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs), poker chip designs, specific card faces, casino logos, tournament branding, or poker mascots. Send us your artwork or concept and we will create a free 3D mockup.
6. What sizes do you recommend for a cardguard?
For a standard cardguard used in Texas Hold'em, the 40 mm (medium) size is most popular — it covers a 2-card hand nicely without being too bulky. The 30 mm (small) is good for pocket carry, and 50 mm (large) is for players who prefer a more substantial card protector.
7. Is the coin heavy enough to hold cards on a felt table?
Yes. The large (45–55g) and medium (25–35g) sizes have sufficient weight to hold down cards on a felt poker table, even with air conditioning or fan breeze. The small size (12–18g) is lighter but still functional as a card protector.
8. Can I get the coin with a custom edge design?
Yes. We can add edge text (like a coin edge inscription), a reeded edge (milled ridges), or a smooth polished edge. Edge designs require a modified die and add +2–3 working days to die creation.
9. What is the quality guarantee?
We offer a 6-month quality guarantee. If the coin shows material defects (enamel chipping, plating peeling, metal cracking) within 6 months of delivery, we replace defective units free of charge.
10. Do you offer display cases for multiple coins?
Yes. We offer multi-slot display cases (leatherette, velvet, or wood) that hold 5, 10, or 20 coins in individual slots. These are ideal for collector sets, tournament series, or challenge coin collections.
