4. Artwork Requirements

• Preferred formats: Adobe Illustrator (.ai), EPS, or PDF — all vectors with outlined fonts

• Acceptable: high-resolution PNG / JPG at 300 DPI minimum, clean solid shapes

• Line art minimum stroke weight: 0.5 pt for stitch conversion

• No halftones, gradients, or drop shadows — these do not translate to embroidery

Q1: What is faux leather? Is it real leather?

A: Faux leather (also called PU leather or synthetic leather) is a man-made material designed to mimic the look and feel of genuine leather. It is significantly more durable against scratching, requires no conditioning, and is 100% animal-free.

Q2: Can I wash or clean the luggage tag?

A: Yes. Wipe gently with a damp, soft cloth and mild soap if needed. Do not machine wash, soak, or use alcohol-based cleaners — they may damage the faux leather surface and loosen the embroidery threads.

Q3: Will the gold embroidery fade over time?

A: The embroidery thread is high-denier polyester with a metallic gold wrap. It is colorfast and UV-resistant for everyday use. Extended exposure to direct sunlight over years may cause slight dulling, but under normal travel conditions the color remains vibrant.

Q4: How does the cable loop attach to my luggage?

A: Loosen the knurled barrel clasp, thread the steel cable through a handle or strap, pass the tag through the loop, and tighten the clasp by hand. No tools required. The clasp holds securely during transit but can be released by hand.

Q5: Can I order a different initial letter or name?

A: Absolutely. The letter "S" shown is a sample. You can order any uppercase letter, lowercase letter, double initials, or a short name (up to 12 characters per line, max 2 lines). Custom artwork is also accepted.

Q6: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

A: For standard single-inital tags, MOQ is 10 units per design. For fully custom artwork (logos, complex motifs), MOQ is 50 units. Contact us for lower MOQ on sample/pilot orders.

Q7: Does the tag fit all luggage handle sizes?

A: The steel cable loop adjusts from approximately 4 cm to 15 cm in circumference, fitting standard suitcase handles, backpacks, duffel bags, briefcases, and strollers. For oversized handles (e.g., large trunks), a longer cable option is available on request.

Q8: Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?

A: Yes. Sample orders are welcome. A sample fee applies (deducted from the first bulk order of 100+ units). Production time for a sample is 5–7 business days plus shipping.

Q9: How long does production take for bulk orders?

A: Standard production is 12–18 business days after artwork approval and deposit. Rushed orders (7–10 business days) are available for an additional 20% surcharge.

Q10: What is your return/exchange policy?

A: Customized/embroidered products are made to order and are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect. If you receive a defective tag, we will replace it free of charge within 30 days of receipt. Standard non-custom items may be returned within 14 days.
