Why Soft PVC instead of ceramic, glass, or paper coasters?
• Ceramic coasters crack when dropped and scratch table surfaces. Glass coasters shatter. Paper coasters tear and are single-use. Soft PVC flexes on impact — drop it from a 1.5 m (5 ft) counter and it bounces without damage.
• The 3 mm thickness provides just enough thermal insulation to protect lacquered wood, glass, and marble tabletops from hot cups (up to 60°C). No heat marks, no white rings.
• The matte texture on both sides creates a friction coefficient of approximately 0.75 on dry surfaces and 0.60 on wet surfaces — significantly better than ceramic (0.3) or paper (0.2). This means cups stay put even on slightly damp tables.
• Surface embossing is integrally molded, not printed or glued. It will not peel, flake, or fade after 5,000+ wipe cycles with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
