Q1: What type of backing does this patch come with?
All standard rune patches come with a full-coverage Velcro® hook backing for instant attachment to any loop panel (vest, cap, bag). We also offer sew-on and iron-on versions on request.
Q2: Can I machine-wash gear with the patch attached?
Yes. The patch is machine-washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. For best longevity, turn the item inside-out and avoid fabric softener. Air-dry recommended.
Q3: Is this patch IR-compatible / low-visibility?
The standard version uses matte non-reflective thread. The olive drab base and black embroidery provide low-visibility in most tactical settings. IR-compatible threads are available as a custom option.
Q4: Will the embroidery peel or fray over time?
No. Each patch uses a TPU inner laminate that locks every stitch in place. Combined with the merrow border, the patch resists fraying even after extended field use and repeated washing.
Q5: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Stock designs: MOQ = 1 piece. Custom designs: MOQ = 50 pieces per design. Smaller trial runs (10–49 pcs) are available at a slightly higher unit price.
Q6: Can I have my own logo / design embroidered?
Absolutely. Send us your vector artwork (AI, EPS, CDR, PDF) or high-res PNG with a clear description of thread colors. We digitize your design and provide a stitch-out photo for approval before production.
Q7: How do I attach the iron-on version?
Place the patch on the fabric (cotton or poly-cotton blend recommended), cover with a thin cloth, and press with a household iron at medium-high (wool setting) for 20–30 seconds. Allow to cool for 2 minutes before handling.
Q8: Do you offer custom merrow border colors?
Yes. You can choose any solid border color to match or contrast with your design. Standard options include olive drab, black, coyote brown, and foliage green.
Q9: What file format do you need for custom artwork?
Vector formats (AI, EPS, CDR, PDF with embedded fonts) are preferred. For raster images, please provide at least 600 DPI at actual size. We also accept hand-drawn sketches — we will digitize and confirm with you.
Q10: Do you ship internationally? How long does it take?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) takes 3–7 business days; air freight 7–15 days; sea freight 25–45 days. All shipments include tracking information.
