Q: What is the patch made of?
A: The patch is constructed from high-density polyester twill fabric with 100% polyester rayon embroidery thread. The backing is industrial-grade hook-and-loop (Velcro®) heat-sealed for durability.
Q: Can I wash the patch?
A: Yes. The patch is machine-washable in cold water (gentle cycle) and can be air-dried. Do not bleach, iron directly on the embroidered surface, or dry-clean. The color and shape remain intact after 100+ wash cycles.
Q: Does the Velcro® backing wear out over time?
A: Industrial-grade Velcro® is rated for 10,000+ open/close cycles. In normal daily use (attaching/detaching once per day), this translates to approximately 27 years of reliable function.
Q: What surfaces can I attach it to?
A: The hook side attaches to any loop-compatible surface: tactical vests, plate carriers, caps, uniforms, backpacks, Molle webbing, and dedicated patch display boards. It is not adhesive-backed on the front side.
Q: Can I change the text or design?
A: Yes. We offer full customization: text, motto, artwork, shape, and colors can all be modified. Send your artwork in AI, EPS, PDF, or high-res TIFF/PSD format for a free digital stitch simulation proof.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
A: For stock designs: 50 pcs. For custom designs (text/color changes): 100 pcs. For full custom artwork: 200 pcs. Samples are available at 1 – 3 pcs with a sample fee (deducted from production order).
Q: How do I attach the patch if my gear doesn’t have Velcro®?
A: We offer an adhesive-backed Velcro® strip that can be sewn or ironed onto any fabric surface. Alternatively, the patch can be sewn directly onto fabric in place of the Velcro® backing upon request.
Q: Will the black thread fade in the sun?
A: No. Our polyester rayon thread is UV-stabilized and tested to ISO 105-B02 (lightfastness grade ≥ 4.0). In continuous outdoor exposure, no significant fading is observed for 18+ months.
Q: Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?
A: Absolutely. Sample patches (stock designs) ship within 1 – 3 business days. Custom samples take 5 – 10 days for proof approval + production. Sample fees are fully refundable on bulk orders above 300 pcs.
Q: What is the return / replacement policy?
A: We stand behind every patch. If you receive a defective item (loose threads, misaligned embroidery, delaminated backing), we replace it free of charge within 30 days of delivery. Custom orders are non-returnable unless defective.
